Health Reference Center: Academic – A full service resource for people needing health related research. It provides an integrated collection of general interest health and fitness magazines, medical and professional periodicals, reference books and pamphlets. Records are available in a combination of indexing, abstracts or full text formats. Contains information on a wide variety of topics.

Medline – Provides authoritative medical information on medicine, nursing, dentistry, veterinary medicine, the health care system, pre-clinical sciences, and much more. Created by the National Library of Medicine, this site allows users to search abstracts for over 4,000 current biomedical journals.

PapersFirst – This database provides an index of papers presented at conferences worldwide from 1993 to the present.

ProceedingsFirst -- An index of worldwide conference proceedings. Provides citations of every congress, symposium, conference, exposition, workshop and meeting received at The British Library.

Books and Journals

Books may be found using the library's online catalog. In the library, you can find books according to their classification number. If you need help ask any of the librarians, technical staff or student assistant to assist you.

Books on radiological technology and radiology can usually be found in the RC 78 and R 898 sections, upstairs.

Online full-text journals are available. These journals are arranged by title.

Also, the library subscribes to periodicals in paper copy or microfiche. They are shelved or filed in alphabetical order according to title.
