Building Access
An automatic door opener is located outside the main
entrance to the Library. To exit the building there is an automatic
door opener on the Circulation Desk.
Computer and Print Access
The Library has the following equipment available:
- A computer with a large screen monitor located
on the first floor with a height-adjustable table.
- A Telesensory Systems Inc. enlarger for magnifying written materials
that can be used for any printed matter, including bound periodicals.
It does not display in color, but it does provide contrast controls
to assist varying levels of viewing.
- The Bone
Learning Center on the second floor has a computer equipped with
JAWS and Dragon Naturally Speaking which will type with voice commands.
Assistance in learning to use this equipment is available during regular
Library hours.
Materials Access
Persons who are unable to retrieve books and other materials from Library
shelves may get assistance at the Circulation Desk. An elevator to accomodate
wheelchair access to the second floor is also available.
