Academic Search Complete - Provides full text for more than 3,460 scholarly publications covering academic areas of study including social sciences, humanities, education, computer sciences, engineering, language and linguistics, arts & literature, medical sciences, and ethnic studies.

ArticleFirst – Over 12,000 bibliographic citations from magazines and serials, covering several topics from 1990 to the present can be found here.

Business Source Complete – This is a full-text database designed to help searchers find information on all aspects of the business world. Full-text is offered for nearly 2,300 scholarly business journals on topics of economics, management, accounting, finance, international business and more.

EDGAR – This database contains registration statements, periodic reports, and other forms submitted by foreign and domestic companies electronically through EDGAR at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

Enhanced Business Search Interface - EBSCO supported interface.

LexixNexis - This database contains valuable information for professionals in law firms, corporations, government, law enforcement, tax, accounting, academic institutions and risk and compliance assessment.

netLibrary - Contains more than 18,000 titles covering most subject areas, with many titles in the areas of literature, business, history, health/medicine, sociology, science, philosophy, computer science, and education.

PapersFirst – This is an index of papers from worldwide conferences from 1993 to the present.

Patent – The database for the United States Patent and Trademark Office contains information about all U.S. patents, including design, utility, reissue, plant patents and SIR documents from the most recent issued to the first patent issued in 1790.

ProceedingsFirst – This is an index of conference proceedings around the world. It contains information on all items received by the British Library.

Regional Business News – This database contains information from business journals, newspapers and newswires, covering all rural and metropolitan areas in the United States.

Statistical Abstract of the United States – This is a collection of statistics on social and economic conditions in the United States.

Thomas Register – Here is a resource for finding information on more than 173,000 companies and over 800,000 products manufactured in North America.

USA Counties – This database contains demographic, economic, and governmental information spanning several years and sources for county comparisons and profiles.

Books and Journals

Books may be found using the library's online catalog. In the library, you business and economic books can be found according to their classification numbers. Books that have "Ref." in the LC system, or "R" in the Dewey system, before the call number are in the Reference section of the library (on the First floor). If you need help ask any of the librarians, technical staff or student assistant to assist you.

Library of Congress (LC) classification for economics is HB-HJ; for business it is HF. Dewey classification for economics is 330; for business it is 330, 380, and 650.

Most of our journals are available through the online databases. They are shelved or filed in alphabetical order according to title.
