For the on-campus, online, and QUEST/Hybrid courses, you will need a USB flash drive and/or a hard drive in order to download the necessary data files. To download the files, visit www.course.com. At this site, follow the instructions.
Search for the textbook ISBN number (found on the bottom-right of the back cover)
From the search results page, find the title of your textbook. Click the "About this Product" link for the Student.
Point to "Student Downloads" in the top-right navigation to expand the menu. Click "Data Files for Text".
If the File Download - Security Warning dialog box opens, click the Save button.
In the Save As dialog box, select a folder on your USB drive or hard disk to download the file and click the Save button.
When a dialog box opens indicating the download is complete, click the OK button and close your browser.
Open Windows Explorer and display the contents of the folder to which you downloaded the file.
Double-click the downloaded filename on the right side of the Windows Explorer window. If the Open File - Security Warning dialog box opens, click the Run button.
In the WinZip Self-Extractor window, specify the appropriate drive and folder name to unzip the files. Click the Unzip button.
When the WinZip Self-Extractor displays the number of files unzipped, click the OK button.
Click the Close button in the WinZip Self-Extractor dialog box and close Windows Explorer.
For the on-campus and QUEST/Hybrid courses, you must download the data files to a flash drive for portability. The college hard drives may not be used for personal data file storage. For the online course, you can leave the data files on your personal hard drive instead of using an external storage device.
If you are having difficulty downloading the data files, the files are also located on the college classroom and computer lab computers.
If you are in either the online or QUEST/Hybrid course and are having difficulty downloading the data files, the files are also provided to you in eLearning.
