Welcome to class!
Welcome to Government of the United States!  I am glad to have you with us this semester.  You are going to meet people in government who will tell you how the our government works and their experience in that system.  You will also learn about many people who are outside of government, but attempt to influence government policy-making.  The activities, along with your reading assignments, have been designed to make government come alive for you.
