The Museum has a West Gallery (the main gallery, as you walk in)

and two East Galleries (the two galleries on the right, as you walk in).

West Gallery houses the permanent collection.

East Gallery hosts temporary exhibitions.

Assignment: select your favorite and least favorite work from the Main Gallery and also your favorite and least favorite work from the two East Galleries (a total of four).

For each of the 4 works selected write the following information:

1. Title

2. Artist’s name

3. A description of the work

(Be thorough and complete in your description and analysis of the works of art. Write AT LEAST two to three sentences on each work selected. Multiple paragraphs are preferable.)

4. Why you chose this work

(Justify your judgment by expounding as much as possible with concrete reasons. Explain your reasons for selecting these four works. Write AT LEAST two to three sentences on each work selected. Multiple paragraphs are preferable.)

In short – you are writing four mini-papers; one paper for each work with the above content.
